How to Use Credit Limit
The Credit Limit feature allows clients to use their wallet balances in the negative up to a predefined limit, giving them more flexibility within the allowed amount. In this guide, we’ll explain how to set limits and manage wallet statements at both the Brand Level and Client Level.
Configuring Credit Limit at the Brand Level

Go to Setting → Payment Option

Scroll down to Client Wallet

Here, you will find the following options:
- Enable/Disable Credit Limit: Allows you to toggle the Credit Limit feature on or off
- Credit Limit Permissible: Defines the maximum amount of credit a client can have in their wallet.
NOTE
When using this Credit Limit feature, the value operates using the Brand's default currency.
- Day of the Month for Generating Wallet Statements: Select a specific day of the month for the system to automatically generate wallet statements for your clients.

Configuring Account Credit Limit at the Client Level
To access and configure the Account Credit Limit settings in Client Level:

Go to Clients → Select a client.

Click Billing → Account Credit.

Under Account Credit, you'll see Credit Limit settings.
NOTE
To use this feature, you'll need to (see attached screenshot):
- Set the Multi-currency setting to "store credit in single currency"

Next, set up the Credit Limit. Below are the options available:
Credit Limit Setting under Client Level
Field Name | Description |

Allow this client to hold a credit balance | Enable or disable the use of credit balance for the selected client. |
Use the default credit limit of (amount & currency set at the brand level) |

Generate a credit statement on the XX day of each month |

How Clients See Credit Limits in the Client Area

Go to Billing → Account Credit → Credit Limit.

Clients can use the credit limit within their preferred currency.

If a client uses their credit limit in one currency for the first payment, all future payments using the credit limit must be in the same currency.
- For example, if they use USD for the first payment, they will need to use USD for all future credit limit payments.
