How to Link OpenProvider with Upmind

OpenProvider is a globally recognised domain registrar headquartered in the Netherlands. They offer a wide range of domain-related services tailored for resellers, hosting providers, and digital agencies. To begin using OpenProvider with Upmind, you’ll first need to sign up for a reseller account directly through the OpenProvider website.

Requirements

Before proceeding with the integration, ensure you have the following credentials ready:

  • Your OpenProvider username
  • Your OpenProvider password

These will be used to authenticate and establish a secure connection between your OpenProvider account and the Upmind platform.

Steps to Connect OpenProvider to Upmind

  1. Log in to your Upmind Admin Panel:

    Use your admin credentials to access the backend of your Upmind instance.

  2. Navigate to the domain settings:

    Go to Host Control → Domain names from the main menu.

  3. Add OpenProvider as a domain provider:

    • Under the Add Domain Provider section, select OpenProvider from the list.
    • A side panel will appear prompting you to enter integration details.
  4. Configure the provider settings:

    • Name: Enter a name for this provider integration. This is an internal label and not visible to your customers. - For example, enter "OpenProvider". If you have multiple accounts (such as for different brands or environments), consider using distinguishable names like "OpenProvider V1" or "OpenProvider Production".
