How to Create Product Bundles

This article shows you how to create a product bundle. A bundle consists of two or more stand-alone products or services that you sell together as a single unit.

Creating a bundle is a two-step process:

• Create a dummy bundle category.
• Add stand-alone products/services to the bundle category.

It's not possible to create a bundle with a product or service that is part of a product option or product attribute. If you want to add an item in your catalogue that is listed only as a product option/attribute, you must create a new stand-alone product/service.

Opening the product bundle page

1. Log in to Upmind.
2. Click the Settings button.
3. Click the Products & Services tile.
4. On the Product catalogue page, make sure the Product & Bundles menu tab is selected.

Creating a category

The next step is to create a category. Like a folder with many files, a category holds one or more product bundles.

1. Click the Add New button.
2. Select Products category.
3. On the next screen, enter a unique category name.
4. Check the box if you want to create a subcategory. (optional)
5. Add a product category description.
6. Add a short description (maximum 130 characters).
7. Click Create.

• Upmind displays the category on the Product catalogue page.

Editing a category

1. Click the three-dot icon.
2. Revise or delete a category.

Creating a bundle

Now it’s time to create a product bundle inside a category.

1. Locate the bundle category.
2. Click the three-dot icon.
3. Select Add product.
4. Verify the category name. Use the drop-down menu to change the category. (optional)
5. Click the Product bundle tile.
6. Leave the boxes checked (default settings) to keep the product visible to staff and customers.

7. Add a bundle name and description. Customers can see this text on the store catalogue.
8. Click Manage.

Adding products to the bundle

After you click the Manage button, the Select products page displays. It shows a list of all your products and services.

You can select items with recurring payments or one-off purchases.

1. Scroll through the list.
2. Click a tab to expand a folder.
3. Check the box next to each product or service you want to attach to the bundle.
4. Click Save.
5. Click Manage and repeat steps to add more products or services.
6. Click Create.

After you click Create, Upmind displays the bundle in your bundle category.

Editing bundles

You can edit the product list or bundle description.

1. Click the three-dot icon.
2. Edit or delete the bundle.

Use the duplicate feature to quickly create similar bundles.

Customising bundle details

The next step is to set pricing and add images (optional). You can also edit descriptions.

1. Click the Products & Bundles menu tab.
2. Locate a bundle.
3. Hover the three-dot icon.
4. Click Edit.

Review product details

1. On the Product details page, review the information.
2. Add images. (optional)

Add pricing

1. Click the Product billing menu link.

2. Select product type (one-off or recurring payment).
3. Set the bundle price.
4. Add currencies. (optional)
5. Set multi-currency option.
6. Set the default payment term.
7. Click Save.

Review and edit

To review the products or services in the bundle, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Upmind displays the items in the bundle.

Click manage to add to remove bundle items.

Customer view

The store's basket displays the bundle name and price.
