How to Integrate with Slack

Connect your Upmind e-commerce store to Slack and stay in constant contact with staff and clients. Integrating Slack with your store is a two-step process.

Creating a webbook

1. Go to the Slack help pages.

2. Create a new Slack app. and follow the steps

   

3. After you created the channel, in your Slack, click on the three dots icon, then select 'Automation'

   

4. Search for 'Incoming Webhooks' and then click 'Add'

   

5. In the 'Post to Channel' section, you can choose which channel you want to integrate. In this example, the channel name is 'ticket-notif'

   

6. Copy the webhook.

Inserting the webhook

1. Go to your Upmind dashboard.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Notification channels.
4. Go to the Slack heading.
5. Toggle the switch to the ON (blue) position.
6. Paste the webhook into the field.
7. Click Save.
