Email Messages vs Notifications

Email templates are used for two different communication systems:

• trigger notifications, and
• client messages (bulk messages or single client.

Notifications and client messages look similar because they both use Twig code snippets and HTML. Unlike trigger notifications, client messages are sent one time and do not require a trigger.
