How to Add Blockonomics as a Payment Method

Blockonomics is a decentralized Bitcoin payment platform that offers specialized tools to enhance your Bitcoin transactions.

Getting Credentials

Before adding Blockonomics as a payment gateway, log in to your Blockonomics account to obtain the Crypto Currency, API Key, and Extended Public Key.

To get your Crypto Currency and API Key, you'll need to go to:

1. On your merchant page > select stores > see Crypto Currency and API Key as attached screenshot below

To get your Extended Public Key, refer to the Blockonomics article here

Adding a Payment Provider

Go to Settings > Payment providers in your admin area. Then click Add payment provider and choose Blockonomics

Adding details

Scroll down to the page and complete the necessary fields.

1. Enter a display name. We suggest Blockonomics
2. Click the Test Mode and select the option no
3. Select the Crypto Currency based on your account
4. Enter the API Key and Extended Public Key
5. You might Test Credentials and it will show Successful authentication!
6. Add currencies (optional)
7. Enter payment instructions (optional)
8. Click Create

Editing the payment method

You can change or update the payment method. Go to the Payment Providers page, click the three dots, and select Edit.
